Embark on your Timber Trail journey with confidence by choosing the right bike for the terrain. We recommend a mountain bike equipped with knobbly tires and a minimum of front suspension to tackle the grade 2-3 trail.
Choose from our fleet of modern and well-maintained Trek Roscoe’s and Trek Powerfly e-bikes. We offer both hardtail and full suspension e-bike options, ensuring you have the perfect ride for your adventure.
Your safety is our priority. Each rental includes a helmet and tool kit including spare inner tube.
All-inclusive bike insurance is included with each bike hire.

The Trek Roscoe Locked Suspension is a mid-fat trail hardtail bike for riders who favour a fun and lively ride. It is stable enough for new riders and playful enough to make experienced riders smile. You will feel confident and in control on this bicycle - especially when the trail gets tough. It’s built for ease of use and durability so you can focus on enjoying the scenery and the ride instead. With a Trek Roscoe, it doesn’t matter if you’re a newbie or a pro. Whatever your skill level, you’re going to have fun.
NB: Bikes can be booked as part of a package or separately. A package is the best way to book everything if you plan to stay at the lodge.

Do you feel you may need some assistance on the Timber Trail? Then the Trek Powerfly E-Bike is the perfect bike for you. Equipped with performance parts, a high-end Bosch motor, powerful battery and intuitive controller you are in for a confidence boost of note. Switching between minimum and maximum assist is a breeze and having that extra assistance on the more challenging climbs may make for a more enjoyable ride. Easy to operate with plenty of power, the Trek Powerfly is a perfect fit for novice to pro riders.
